Espalmador is a small, uninhabited island just off to the north of Formentera. Its a Nature Reserve and is accessible by yacht or wading between the two islands during low tide. This area is a perfect stopping point for its pristine beaches, a lighthouse, crystal clear waters and famous mud-baths.

Las Salinas Beach
It was named after the salt lakes of the south of Ibiza and its less than 2 Km long and 25 meters wide in the form of a crescent. The sandy beach is bordered by pine and the Mediterranean waters are as clear as it can be. It is a wonderful place to have an afternoon drink while the Balearic music beat takes off.

Cala Conta Beach
This beautiful beach is 800 meters long by 20 meters wide. From here you have a great view of a few islands offshore. Crystal clear waters enables to see clearly to the very bottom. Because of its geographical location, the sunsets here are spectacular.
Cala D’Hort and Es Vedrá
Cala d'Hort is one of the most beautiful beaches of Ibiza, situated just opposite of the famous island of Es Vedra. Es Vedra is a striking rocky island standing 378m and made of limestone. The island is said to be home to sirens and sea-nymphs who tried to lure Odysseus from his ship in Homers Greek Odyssey.
Cala Saona Beach
Cala Saona is located on the west coast of Formentera. This beautiful cove is shaped as a horseshoe and keeps the waters warm at all times. The sand is white and thin and the waters turquoise like in a dream. Its the perfect spot to relax, swim in its crystal clear waters or practice water-sports.
This is a great snorkeling site because the waters are deep and clear as a piece of crystal. There are some minerals on the rocks that reflect the light providing this amazing scenery. Also the rock cliff ensures calm and pristine waters.
